Automotive Equipment
Model P — Component Vacuum Coating System (Automotive Applications)
Model P is a highly integrated flexible platform that combines magnetron sputtering, arc evaporation, PACVD, HiPIMS, and microwave technologies in a single system, enabling multi-purpose use from R&D to production.
For the automotive industry, it provides high-hardness, low-friction, wear-resistant coatings for engine core components (fuel injection needles, high-pressure plungers, tappets, rocker arms, piston rings, piston pins), bearings, gears, and fuel cell bipolar plates.
Low-temperature processing (160-200°C) avoids tempering effects. DLC oil-free self-lubricating coatings significantly reduce friction loss and energy consumption.
